ICR - IR Cut Filter
IR cut filter is activated to increase the color quality by blocking mid-infrared wavelengths. The filter is deactivated when the camera is used at single channel mode, in order to increase the sensitivity.
HLC (High Light Compensation)
HLC, is a BLC technology that is used to detect extreme illumination and compensate it to improved the image quality. This technology is especially useful to read the plates of the vehicles at night.
BLC (Back Light Compensation)
The BLC technology is used to compensate strong illumination differences caused by back lighting. However, WDR is a more effective solution than BLC.
WDR (Wide Dynamic Range)
The wide dynamic range technology is used to increase the information extracted from the dark regions of the image, without causing saturation on the bright regions. There is no region restrictions in the WDR function, and the resulting images are of higher quality than the images enhanced with the BLC technology.
VPS
VPS is used to deblur the blures that occur by the motion blurring.
DIS (Digital Image Stabilization)
SV-V/A1, stabilizes vibrating cameras conditions like windy weather. This stabilization also saves great space in the DVR equipment by enabling much more efficient compression.
SSNR (Samsung Super Noise Reduction) / Motion Sensitive DNR
SSNR/DNR uses two filters. A 2D filter to reduce the noise exhibited on the dynamic regions of the image, and a 3D filter to reduce the noise present at the stable regions of the image.
Samsung Super Dinamic Range (SSDR) / Exttended Dynamic Range (XDR)
In scenes that strong backlight or high contrast is present, cameras tend to produce noise that highlights the details of the illuminted regions. Therefore, the details that exist on the dark regions of the image are disappeared. The Samsung SV-V/A1 cameras use the SSDR/XDR technology to increase the visible details of images in such cases.
OSD - Camera Control through coaxial cable
The advanced settings of the camera can easily be managed through the OSD screen menus. These menus can be controlled over the camera buttons, over a hand controller or with remote connection at the monitoring center via RS485.
Thermal Night Camera
It is a camera that senses the infrared energy of the objects and the background and converts them to electronic signals. It can sense the objects up to a 1km distance despite challenging conditions like rainy or foggy weather. The colorspace enables discrimination among different objects through their heat.
Samsung DVR - CIF/4CIF real-time recording
Real time recording is available for several sizes.
Samsung DVR - High resolution image enhancement
It is delivered with a HDMI output which upscales the image to 1080p and also with VGA and BNC outputs.
Samsung DVR - User Friendly Graphical User Interface (GUI)
The GUI which is common for all SRD models, enables easy installation and usage.
Samsung Data Storage Unit
It is connected to DVRs and NVRs and used to store data externally.
Samsung Matrix Units
The main unit can be expended to support up to 256 cameras and 32 monitors.
Samsung Control Keyboard - SPC 6000
5 inch TFT touchscreen LCD
PTZ dome cameras, DVRs and control of matrix selectors
Central control for up to 255 units
3D joystick to control the PTZ function
Various Screen Resolutions
The Samsung HD network camera provides improved monitoring options compared to regular VGR cameras. It simultaneously outputs various resolutions for several user applications.
Multiple Codec and Multiple Flow
Multiple codecs (H.264, MPEG-4 and MJPEG) are transmitted simultaneously, so that many operations like efficient recording, e-mail notification, mobile monitoring and storage to SD memory are allowed at the same time.
Smart Video Analysis
Any interference towards hindering the camera operation (spray coloring, covering the lens with clothing etc.) is detected and an alarm signal is transmitted.
Alarm Event Control
In the case that an alarm event occurs, the images collected before and after the alarm event are stored (to an FTP server or SD card), and also sent as an email.
Bi-directional voice transmission
Bi-directional voice transmission, enables interactive communication between the monitored area and the camera control center.
PoE (Power over Ethernet)
The power is transmitted through the LAN cables, leading to a much simpler installation and maintenance.
Hybrid Output
The Samsung network camera, which has both Ethernet and BNC connections, provides not only digital streaming over the network (IP Video), but also analog streaming simultaneously.
SD Memory card slot
The users may save active or backed-up events to an SD memory card. This property also enables data storage in the case of recorders such NVR or DVR do not exist.
